Who discovered that the earth moves around the sun?

Nicolaus Copernicus is credited with heliocentric cosmology. Which places the sun at the center of the our solar system, with the planets rotating around it. He published a book on this in 1543.

Nephi in the Book of Mormon in Heleman chapter 12:15 states:

15 And thus, according to his word the aearth goeth back, and it appeareth unto man that the bsun standeth still; yea, and behold, this is so; for surely it is the earth that moveth and not the sun.

This was about 7 B.C.
